Our Policies
We respect your privacy! We do not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail, or address. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail, or where applicable, registering on the shinephotostudio.com site. Any personal information you do provide is protected under the federal Privacy Act.
Any and all information collected at this web site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed without prior written permission. Any information you give to Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.
Browser information collected on the website:
Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on our web sites. Our web site logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site. The IP addresses of users may be tracked for the safety and security of our site.
Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:
Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including that of our participants or email lists without prior written permission. This policy includes your images from photo sessions. Should a third party wish to view and purchase photos from your session, you will be required to provide written permission allowing the viewing process.

Privacy of our email lists:
Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings maintains email lists to keep our visitors and customers informed about breaking events and new products. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone except Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings administration.

The information contained within the Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings sites are a copyright of Shine Photo/Inspired Weddings including the all information, posts, photos and any tutorials. Unauthorized reproduction of any of this information is strictly forbidden. Tutorial information is provided for your personal use only and is not for re-distribution by any means. All photos taken during a photo session or wedding are the intellectual property of Shine Photo as per the Copyright Act of Canada.
Permission of is granted for unlimited printing and social display of images delivered on USB the purchaser. Unauthorized reproduction, printing, alteration or sale of these images is an infringement of copyright. Additional permissions and licences may be granted on a case by case basis. Watermarks, signatures and embossed marks are our signature of authenticity and we respectfully request that they not be removed for online usage.
Online sharing & Web Galleries:
All photos taken by Shine Photo are the property of Shine Photo and as such may be used in our web galleries or for advertising purposes. However, we realize that circumstances vary within families, and the display of an individual’s photography online is not always appropriate or desirable. Consequently, as a gesture of good will we have model releases available at the studio that we have clients, parents and or subjects sign prior to displaying images online. Shine Photo reserves all rights for photo display.
Reservation Fees
A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your wedding date. Your date is not considered reserved until the required deposit has been received. HST is additional to all listed prices.
Payment Schedule
Wedding payments are made according to the following schedule:
- 120 days prior to the wedding: the first scheduled payment is due.
- 90 days prior to the wedding: the second scheduled payment is due.
- 60 days prior to the wedding: the entire remaining balance is due in full.
All payments made toward a wedding are non-refundable.
Cancellations
Your wedding reservation deposit is non-refundable. Because Inspired Weddings reserves your date and may turn away other weddings in order to honour that commitment, cancellation does not automatically eliminate the remaining financial obligation under your agreement.
For cancellations made more than 120 days before the wedding, the reservation deposit remains non-refundable.
For cancellations made between 120 and 91 days before the wedding, 25% of the total contracted amount is due and non-refundable.
For cancellations made between 90 and 61 days before the wedding, 50% of the total contracted amount is due and non-refundable.
For cancellations made 60 days or less before the wedding, the full contracted amount is immediately due and non-refundable, regardless of whether the wedding proceeds.
Any outstanding amount required under the cancellation schedule becomes due upon cancellation.
Unpaid weddings may be cancelled by Shine Photo / Inspired Weddings without further notice. We reserve the right to refuse future bookings from clients who reserve dates but fail to make required payments.
Late Arrivals
Please make every effort to arrive on time. Because the timing of one wedding may affect weddings scheduled afterward, late arrival will reduce the time available for your ceremony and photography. A wedding is considered a no-show cancellation if either member of the couple is more than 30 minutes late.
All couples will be required to review and sign a contract for service at the pre-wedding consultation. The contract outlines our policies, your commitment to the wedding date and our obligations to you in delivering the services of the package and the photography images.
Because of the nature of pop-up weddings, it it imperitive that the day runs on schedule.
Being late to your own wedding also affects the timing of all other weddings that follow yours. As such, arriving late will cut short the amount of time allotted for your wedding.
We deem a wedding to be cancelled if either the bride or groom arrives more than 30 minutes late.
